£296,000 investment in assisted living
CUTTING-EDGE technology is being installed in homes to help people stay independent rather than having to go into care.Bromley Council is spending £296,000 on the equipment for the extra care housing scheme which is being built on the former Blue Circle site, Bromley Common.
It is also planning to put the machines into existing council run schemes.
Technology in the homes includes fall detectors, extreme weather sensors and natural gas detectors.
