Every year the Bromley Town Twinning Association holds an annual lecture, normally connected with German life and the affairs of our twin town Neuwied on the Rhine.

This year's annual lecture on Tuesday, October 17, will be given by Dr Christopher Knowles, Research Fellow at King's College, London. It will describe how four inflluential Britons set about the task of reconstruction, political renewal and personal reconciliation. Refreshments will be provided and admission is free but small donations to cover costs would be welcome.

The venue is the United Reformed Church, Widmore Road, Bromley, and the lecture starts at 7.30pm.
