Bromley borough is the largest of the 32 London Boroughs and Bromley Town Centre is the largest of the Borough's towns.
Bromley has a history going back to Roman times. The current Civic Centre is built on the site of the original Bishop's Palace, seat of the Bishops of Rochester; the site having been mentioned in the Domesday Book.
